“Help Me at Home: Positive Techniques for Parents of Children with Autism”
This program, funded through a grant from the Women's Fund of Winston Salem will provide FREE Saturday classes for mothers of children with autism and will include respite care and lunch for their children (children with autism and siblings). The program has rolling admission and is available to families in Forsyth and surrounding counties. This program, partially funded by the state, is open to clients aged 42 months or younger at intake. Students enrolled in the program receive 20 hours per week of intensive intervention, either 1:1 instruction or a combination of group instruction and 1:1. Slots are limited. Students are admitted on a first-come-first-served basis, and may be placed on a waiting list if there are no openings. The monthly parent contribution is $500.
